Position: Mandarin Teacher for Grades 3-8th

Reports To: Assistant Head of Middle School

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Mandarin teacher to join our faculty. Our ideal candidate can speak and write fluently in Mandarin and can get students excited about learning the language in the classroom. You will develop a well‑rounded curriculum that enables students to read and write in Mandarin, as well as speak both formally and conversationally. Cultural studies should be integrated throughout the curriculum to give students a perspective on the history and development of the language.

This position might include being a middle school advisor, club leader, and/or Student Voice Group facilitator.

Student Success Skills Integration: Intentionally plans and implements instruction focused on Dawson's Student Success Skills, and systematically collects evidence of student progress toward mastery of these skills.

Self‑Reflection & Growth Mindset: Demonstrates deep self‑awareness, consistently seeks feedback, identifies areas for improvement, and implements meaningful changes to practice.
