Compliance and Data Strategist Position Overview
WYLEES Middle School is seeking a strategic, analytical, and systems-oriented leader to serve as our Compliance and Data Strategist. This role is responsible for ensuring the school meets all regulatory and reporting requirements while building the data systems that allow our staff to make informed decisions that improve student outcomes. The Data and Compliance Strategist works closely with the CEO/Head of School, Director of School Operations, and the Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) to design systems that support operational excellence, instructional improvement, and student success.

Key Responsibilities Compliance Systems and Reporting- Develop and maintain a comprehensive annual compliance calendar outlining all regulatory reporting deadlines and requirements.
- Analyze compliance tasks to determine documentation requirements, stakeholder input, board approval requirements, and submission timelines.
- Coordinate with leadership to ensure timely completion and submission of compliance tasks.
- Design systems to collect, organize, and communicate key operational and academic data.
- Create systems that track data, including attendance, tardiness, behavior, and academic performance.
- Develop dashboards and reports that make complex data accessible to staff.
- Analyze state summative assessments, interim assessments, and internally created assessments.
- Translate assessment data into actionable insights for school leaders and teachers.
- Collaborate with teachers to build strong PLC structures centered on academic and social-emotional growth.
- Support data-driven instructional planning and reflection.
- Support leading the Instructional Leadership Team (ILT).
- Establish systems for walkthroughs, observations, and coaching cycles.
- Analyze behavioral data to support PBIS implementation.
- Use data to refine systems that improve school culture and student outcomes.
The responsibilities listed above are representative of the core functions of this position. Given the dynamic nature of a growing school community, the Data and Compliance Strategist may be asked to perform other duties as assigned that are appropriate to the role and support the mission, operations, and instructional goals of WYLEES.

- At least 3 years of experience in education leadership, data analysis, compliance management, or related roles.
- Administrative experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with school data systems and assessment analysis preferred.
- Experience with charter school reporting or compliance systems preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
