Overview
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management in the Lee Business School, Department of Marketing & International Business, with an expected start date of July 1, 2027. This position is housed in a dual-AACSB-accredited school and seeks candidates with a strong research agenda and teaching versatility in supply chain management and related fields.
Responsibilities- Develop and sustain a strong research agenda leading to publications in premier peer-reviewed journals on supply chain management and related fields. Emerging areas may include supply chain resilience, sustainability, digital and AI-driven logistics, procurement innovation, global supply chain strategy, or related topics.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in supply chain management and marketing management; contribute to curriculum development as determined by department needs.
- Participate in departmental, college, and university service and collaborate with faculty to advance the department’s research and teaching mission.
- Doctoral degree in supply chain management, operations management, marketing, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university (as recognized by the US Department of Education and CHEA and AACSB). ABDs may be considered, but credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
- Strong methodological training and potential to develop and maintain a focused research agenda with publications in premier journals.
- Ability to teach courses in supply management and marketing at undergraduate and graduate levels, delivered in both classroom and online formats.
- Publications in leading business journals, expertise in emerging research areas of supply chain management or related marketing fields, and evidence of teaching effectiveness and strong communication skills.
