Ateres Bnos Ita, a premier institution dedicated to providing exceptional Judaic and secular education, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced High School Biology Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our high school girls and inspiring them to reach their full potential. In this part‑time position, you will teach 5 class periods per week across 4 days, with a focus on Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology.
Responsibilities- Prepare and teach high school Biology classes at a strong academic level
- Teach topics related to Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology
- Develop hands‑on labs and interactive learning experiences on a consistent basis
- Maintain effective classroom management
- Grade assignments, assessments, and labs in a timely manner
- Communicate professionally with administration and staff
- Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Background in Biology, science, healthcare, medicine, nursing, or related field required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Teaching experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage and motivate high school students
