Part-Time Instructor, Photography - FY 2026
This announcement is not an offer of employment. This requisition is to collect a robust candidate pool for part-time positions that may become available within the designated discipline a part-time position becomes available, the hiring department will review application materials and invite selected candidates to interview. Selected candidates may receive a part-time instructor position, but no minimum course load is guaranteed and teaching assignments, if any, are contingent upon factors such as student enrollment and department need.
No reimbursement for travel expenses will be provided to local or out-of-area/out-of-state candidates, and there is no guarantee of continued or future part-time and/or full-time employment.
- Teaching college-level courses in the classroom and/or studio.
- Developing syllabi and course materials.
- Evaluating student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
- Providing an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities, and program/curriculum development.
- Assignments may be multi-campus with the possibility of day, evening, and/or weekend classes.
- Photography industry experience – minimum 5 years.
- Experience using/teaching Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom software.
- Bachelor's degree in a photo-related field.
- Previous experience teaching photographic classes.
- Experience using Phase One Capture One software.
$925 per instructional unit.
