Job DescriptionThe Lee Business School and the Marketing and International Business Department at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas invite applications for a Lee Assistant Professor of Marketing, with an expected start date in the Fall of 2027. The position is one of ten Lee Scholar professorships funded by a $15 million naming gift. The Lee Professor is expected to demonstrate excellence in scholarship, teaching, and service, and will receive a stipend and additional travel/research funds.
Preference will be given to candidates at the Advanced/Senior Assistant Professor rank.
- Conduct high‑quality research in marketing leading to refereed publications and support the maintenance of AACSB Scholarly Academic (SA) status at a Carnegie R1 institution.
- Maintain an active and productive research agenda consistent with AACSB standards.
- Teach marketing courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including MBA and potentially doctoral programs.
- Provide meaningful service contributions to the department, school, university, community, and the marketing profession.
- Engage in executive education and professional certificate programs as opportunities arise.
- Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field from an accredited institution by the start date.
- Record of top‑quality publications in elite marketing journals with an ongoing publication pipeline.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
- Research interests that strengthen the department’s focus areas, particularly in marketing strategy, digital marketing, AI, experiential marketing, marketing analytics, Mar Tech, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability or interest in teaching marketing courses at multiple levels (undergraduate, graduate, and potentially Ph.D.).
- Experience or interest in engaging with industry partners, marketing professionals, or regulators through applied research, outreach, executive education, or professional certificate programs.
- Commitment to mentoring students and supporting the launch and growth of the department’s upcoming Ph.D. program.

Salary and BenefitsSalary is competitive with endowed positions at similarly situated institutions. The Lee Professorship designation provides a supplemental stipend and enhanced travel and research funding.
