The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for lecturer or senior lecturer in Sports Journalism, with an emphasis on broadcasting and multimedia production. We're looking for a veteran sports journalist who can teach and mentor the next generation of multi-platform sports media professionals. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience reporting, announcing, anchoring and producing sports programming, both in the studio and on site at sporting events.
We also value candidates who keep current with innovations, changes and trends in the sports media industry. Our students report, produce, and anchor the Rebel Report, an Emmy winning program that covers college and professional sports. Students also write and produce packages for Rebel Sports Net, a social and digital media platform.
