Join The Movement Dance Experience
The Movement Dance Experience is expanding—and we're thrilled to launch our brand-new Art Program! We are seeking an exceptional Visual Arts Educator to join our all-star team and help us bring creativity, inspiration, and meaningful art experiences to our students.
This is more than a job. It's an opportunity to elevate young artists, build confidence, and guide students through artistic exploration in a structured, encouraging environment. Our educators are leaders, mentors, and role models—and they play a huge part in shaping the culture of our studio.
If you want to make an impact, take ownership of your craft, and be part of a supportive and forward-moving team, we'd love to meet you.
If you're looking for a short-term gig, something to "test out," or a filler job between opportunities—this will not be the right studio for you. We are searching for educators who value consistency, professionalism, and long-term growth within our community.
These are our core program hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM–8:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Art classes will be scheduled within this window. Teachers will not be scheduled for every hour listed, however:
- Applicants must have open, consistent availability during these hours.
- The specific class schedule will be assigned based on program needs and may change or grow seasonally.
- Applicants with recurring conflicts during these times (other jobs, weekly rehearsals or classes, etc.) are not a fit for this position.

- Able to guide students through drawing, painting, mixed media, and age-appropriate projects.
- Committed to creating an engaging and well-structured classroom environment.
- Flexible and adaptable—classes are assigned based on skill, experience, and program needs.
- If you're only comfortable teaching one age group or one type of art lesson, this may not be the best fit.
Reliable, Professional, & Organized Leaders
- Punctual and fully prepared for every class.
- Strong classroom management skills—able to confidently lead groups of 1 to 15 students.
- Maintains professionalism, clear boundaries, and excellent communication.
- Follows studio procedures, dress code, safety standards, and curriculum structure.
- Takes responsibility for their classes, materials, and student progress. We value educators who bring solutions, positivity, and initiative.

- Passionate about guiding students, building skills, and fostering artistic development.
- Excited to track progress, set goals, and help young artists gain confidence.
- Interested in helping with exhibitions, gallery days, student showcases, and events.
- Motivated to grow within the studio and take on expanded leadership opportunities over time.
