Position OverviewThe Lee Business School invites applications for a tenure‑track Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management with an expected start date of July 1, 2027. This position is housed in the Department of Marketing & International Business in the dual‑AACSB‑accredited Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Responsibilities- Develop and sustain a strong research agenda leading to publications in premier peer‑reviewed journals on supply chain management and related fields. Emerging research areas may include supply chain resilience, sustainability, digital and AI‑driven logistics, procurement innovation, global supply chain strategy, or related topics.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in supply chain management and marketing management.
- Contribute to curriculum development as determined by department needs.
- Participate in departmental, college, and university service.
- Collaborate with faculty to advance the department’s research and teaching mission.
- Doctoral degree in supply chain management, operations management, marketing, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
- ABDs may be considered, but credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
- Strong methodological training and the potential to develop and maintain a focused research agenda resulting in publications in premier journals.
- Ability to teach courses in supply management and marketing effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels and deliver courses in both classroom and online formats.
- Publications in leading business journals.
- Expertise in emerging research areas of supply chain management or related marketing fields.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness and strong communication skills.
