Job DescriptionApplications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by department need. This position may close early if the hiring need is filled or due to volume of applications received.
CSN is looking to hire part-time instructors to teach Women's Studies courses (mostly on-ground, but possibly online). Job responsibilities will include teaching mostly, WMST 113, Gender, Race and Class). Duties also include developing syllabi and course materials as well as evaluation of mastery of skills and competencies as required by course outcomes. Successful candidates are expected to provide an excellent teaching experience, engage in student advisement and participate in assessment of general education, program and course outcomes.
Required Qualifications- Master's degree in Women's Studies or closely aligned field of study from a regionally accredited college or university with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught (also must be from a regionally accredited college or university).
- Ph.D. in Women's Studies or closely aligned field of study from a regionally accredited college or university.
- 1 year (two semesters) of teaching Women's Studies courses at the college level.
$925.00 per credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.
