Core Responsibilities- Teach public speaking course content.
- Evaluate student performances.
- Administer department exams.
- Post information to Learning Management Software (CANVAS).
- Complete assessment assignments.
- Teach research skills, outline writing and oral communication skills.
- Submit semester documents including, but not limited to, syllabus, exams, grade books, attendance, and participation rosters.
- Willingness to teach courses in-person at multiple campus locations.
- Master's degree in Communication Studies.
- Experience teaching public speaking.
- 15 credits of graduate coursework in Communication Studies OR equivalent terminal degree with experience in public speaking/oral communication coursework.
- 30 credits of Communication Studies coursework.
- Two years' experience teaching public speaking.
$925 per instructional unit
