ROLE of the POSITION

The primary duties for this non‑tenure‑track academic faculty position are to teach and assess online biology lecture and laboratories courses for non‑biology majors. The successful candidate will collaborate with a talented team of biology instructors in the College and the School of Life Sciences. All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to evidence‑based instructional methods for a diverse student population. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate continued scholarship and professional development.

MINIMUM

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a Ph.D. in a biological science related degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred candidates will have experience teaching online undergraduate biology courses.
