Lead Preschool Dance Teacher

Position Summary

The Lead Dance Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging dance and movement experiences that develop coordination, confidence, creativity, rhythm, balance, and gross motor skills for preschool children ages 2–5. This role includes classroom instruction, curriculum planning, child assessment, family communication, and maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment. In addition, the Lead Dance Teacher will design, choreograph, teach, and coordinate dance performances for school programs, seasonal productions, graduation ceremonies, and other special events
, helping create memorable experiences for children and families.

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate dance and movement lessons for children ages 2–5.
• Teach age-appropriate dance techniques, rhythm, balance, coordination, body awareness, flexibility, and creative movement.
• Incorporate music, imaginative play, storytelling, props, and games into dance instruction.
• Foster creativity, confidence, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for movement and the performing arts.
