Assistant/Associate/Full Professor In Residence, School Of Nursing
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Residence within the School of Nursing. Primary responsibilities of an appointment are to (1) teach nursing courses consistent with area of expertise; (2) collaborate with other faculty in course development; (3) use teaching resources, such as Web Campus/Canvas to foster learning; (4) provide student supervision; (5) participate in school, university, professional and community service activities.
Classes in the School of Nursing are offered year-round, using a trimester sequence.
The School of Nursing at UNLV offers CCNE-accredited programs leading to a BSN, MS (nurse practitioner and nurse educator tracks), DNP, and PhD (Educator and Interprofessional Health concentrations and DNP to PhD).
The individual must hold a doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited College or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). The individual must also hold or be qualified to hold a Nevada RN license and if selected applicant is subject to a one-time background check. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
Faculty rank will be dependent upon educational credentials, terminal degree, experience, and scholarly achievement.
