Overview
The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for an Assistant Coordinator with Early Childhood Education. The primary focus is to teach, instruct, and coach participants in various early childhood education programs serving children from birth to 5 years. Under the direction of the Senior Coordinator, this position will also develop and implement Early Childhood Workforce Development programs such as the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential coursework and Spiral Up Academy.
Responsibilities- Teach, instruct, and coach participants in early childhood education programs for children from birth to 5 years.
- Develop and implement Early Childhood Workforce Development programs such as the CDA credential coursework and Spiral Up Academy, under the direction of the Senior Coordinator.
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance programming and cultivate professional relationships within the early childhood education field.
- Assess and document activities related to program implementation and participant progress.
- Experience operating a private family child care business.
- Experience working closely with Family Child Care (FCC) programs.
- Experience coaching FCC providers.
