** Job Description

**** Part-Time Instructor*
* ** Responsibilities:
*** Lecture and Lab instruction for Air Conditioning Technology Courses
* Develop Syllabi, Lesson Plans, and course materials in conjunction with Lead Faculty
* Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
* Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
** Required Qualifications
*** Background and experience in courses taught
** Preferred Qualifications
*** EPA Section 608 Certification
* Current HVAC Excellence, NATE or ICE certifications
* 10 years of service experience in the Air Conditioning Industry
* Knowledgeable in Residential & Commercial Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Gas Furnaces, Essential Plant Operations, and Building Systems Operations
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to act effectively as a member of a team
* Self-starter, creative, goal-oriented and organized
* AAS in Air Conditioning Technology or similar
* Experience teaching in a community college setting
* Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
* Knowledge of computer classroom technologies

* Schedule:

** Course assignments may be day, evening and/or weekend classes
** Salary Information:**$925.00 per credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.
