Part‑Time Instructor – Air Conditioning Technology (FY2027)

Applications will be considered on an as‑needed basis determined by course availability.

• Lecture and Lab instruction for Air Conditioning Technology courses
• Develop syllabi, lesson plans, and course materials in conjunction with Lead Faculty
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
• Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities, and program/curriculum development

• Background and experience in courses taught

• EPA Section 608 certification
• Current HVAC Excellence, NATE or ICE certifications
• 10 years of service experience in the Air Conditioning Industry
• Knowledge of residential and commercial air conditioning, refrigeration, gas furnaces, essential plant operations, and building systems operations
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to act effectively as a member of a team
• Self‑starter, creative, goal‑oriented and organized
• AAS in Air Conditioning Technology or similar
• Experience teaching in a community college setting
• Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
• Knowledge of computer classroom technologies

Course assignments may be day, evening, and/or weekend classes.

US $925.00 per credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.
