Part - Time Instructor, History - FY

Part‑Time Instructor, History – FY 2027

CSN is seeking part‑time instructors to teach History courses, primarily in an on‑ground format, with potential opportunities for online instruction. Teaching assignments will generally include introductory‑level History courses, although instructors may be assigned to other program courses based on departmental needs.

• Teach college‑level courses in the field.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
• Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County.
• Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses.

• Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) from a regionally accredited college or university with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught.

$925.00 per credit hour. Courses/Credits assigned may vary by semester.
