Part-Time Instructor, JUMPSTART - Videography - FY2027 Job Description

• Teach Videography/Film classes with the CSN Jumpstart Concurrent Enrollment Program at your high school.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.

• Applicants must be pre-approved by the Media Technologies Department—Videography and Early College Programs Office before submitting an application in Workday.
• Applications from individuals who have been pre-approved will not be considered.
• Videography/Film industry experience—minimum 5 years.
• Experience using or teaching Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects software.

• Bachelor's degree in videography/film related field.
• Previous experience teaching videography/film classes.
• Familiar with Final Cut Pro X software.

$1,000.00 per class per semester

This job announcement is not an offer of employment. It will be open for a period of one year in order to collect a robust candidate pool for part‑time positions that may become available within the discipline. If a part‑time position becomes available, the department will review the application material of the candidates who have applied and will invite select candidates to interview based on their qualifications.

No minimum course load is guaranteed and teaching assignments, if any, are contingent upon various factors such as minimum student enrollment and/or department need. No reimbursement for travel expenses will be provided to local or out‑of‑area/out‑of‑state candidates, and there is no guarantee of continued or future part‑time and/or full‑time employment.
