Part-Time Instructor, Women’s Studies - FY 2027 Job Description
CSN is seeking part‑time instructors to teach Women’s Studies courses, primarily in an on‑ground format, with potential opportunities for online instruction. Teaching assignments will primarily include WMST 113:
Gender, Race, and Class, with additional course assignments based on departmental needs.
- Teach college-level courses in the field.
- Develop syllabi and course materials.
- Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
- Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
- Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County.
- Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses.
- Master's degree in Women’s Studies or a closely aligned field of study from a regionally accredited college or university with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught.
- Ph.D. in Women’s Studies or a closely aligned field of study from a regionally accredited college or university.
- 1 year (two semesters) of teaching Women’s Studies courses at the college level.
$925.00 per credit hour. Courses/Credits assigned may vary by semester.
