Part Time Instructor, Water/Wastewater Treatment - FY2027 Job Description

Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.

• Lecture and Lab instruction for Water/Wastewater Treatment courses
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
• Provide advisement to students
• Develop syllabi and course materials
• Some program and/or curriculum development may be requested
• Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested

• 5 Years of Water/Wastewater Treatment experience,
  OR
• Applied Science degree in Water/Wastewater Treatment from an accredited College/University or equivalent degree

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College/University in Wastewater Treatment or equivalent
• Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
• Knowledge of computer classroom technologies
• Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems

Water/Wastewater Treatment courses are generally taught at the Henderson Campus, in-person/online and are scheduled during the day, and evenings.

$925.00 per lecture credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.
