CSN, West Charleston Campus.
Work Hours:
Up to 20 per week. Hourly Pay: $14.00. Only students who have completed this year’s FAFSA and accepted the Student Employment Award in their Financial Aid Package are eligible to apply.
Centers for Academic Success (CAS) provides quality academic assistance to a diverse college population through several academic support services such as the Writing, Math and Science Resource Centers, Communication Labs, Reading Labs, Accounting Labs, and Tutorial Services.
Responsibilities- Greet all students and help them sign in.
- Check student sign‑in sheets and give them to tutors/assistants.
- Keep a rotation of tutors while working in the Learning Commons.
- Manage students’ expectations.
- Answer phones professionally.
- Answer student questions to the best of your knowledge.
- Enter data into the computer.
- Assist Administrative Assistants.
- File documents physically and electronically.
- Clean and organize the workspace as needed.
- Make copies and scan documents.
- Work on special projects during free time.
- Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Able to follow directions and communicate well.
- Good typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
- Good overall understanding of diverse multicultural environments.
- Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Proof of receipt of the Student Employment Award (e.g., copy of CSN Award Notification or screenshot of accepted award).
