Job Description The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Program Coordinator, Dean’s Office in Lee Business School [R0152773] .ROLE of the POSITION The Program Coordinator serves as a key member of the Lee Business School Dean's Office, providing high-level coordination and operational leadership for the Dean's strategic initiatives, governance priorities, and institutional projects. Working independently, the position manages the planning, implementation, and ongoing coordination of initiatives that support the School's strategic goals and executive leadership priorities.
The Program Coordinator oversees project timelines, implementation activities, stakeholder communications, committee operations, action-item tracking, and follow-through across multiple concurrent initiatives. The position collaborates with Dean's Office leadership, faculty, staff, university partners, advisory boards, and external stakeholders to ensure projects remain organized, accountable, and aligned with institutional objectives.
This role serves as the primary coordinator for documentation, reporting, and tracking systems related to Dean's Office initiatives. Responsibilities include monitoring progress on strategic priorities, preparing and maintaining project documentation, supporting special projects, and ensuring compliance with university administrative processes.
The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with exceptional communication, project coordination, and relationship-building skills. This position exercises a high degree of independent judgment, professionalism, discretion, and organizational awareness while supporting executive leadership in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and 3-5 years of administrative or program coordination experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS This position prefers candidates with experience supporting executive leadership and/or working in a higher education environment. Experience in project management, process improvement, organizational effectiveness, operational management, or change management is preferred.
