Job Description:

Parnassus Preparatory School is currently accepting applications for a full-time Middle School English teacher (for the  school year). Full-time (1.00 FTE). This position plays a pivotal role in developing students' abilities to read, write, speak, and think critically. Teachers are committed to fostering a deep understanding of literature, language, and composition, all while exploring classic novels such as The Good Earth and The Children’s Homer.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• An appropriate MN teaching license is required
• Ability and willingness to teach the classical trivium and sequence model as defined by the school
• The ability to speak and write clearly and effectively
• Conviction in the values of a rigorous liberal arts education
• Ability to maintain an orderly classroom

• Teaching experience preferred but not required
• An appropriate MN teaching license is preferred but not required
• Tier 3 or 4 License preferred but not required

Pay range: $45,150 – $81,375
