Assistant Professor-In-Residence

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a full time Assistant Professor-in-Residence in the Department of Healthcare Administration & Policy in the School of Public Health.

This is a 9-month, non-tenure track position beginning Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. Background in healthcare finance and accounting, healthcare payment systems, health information and technology systems, and/or change management, is preferred. The applicant will carry a 4/4 teaching load. Applicants should also be able to teach undergraduate/graduate courses in the U.S. healthcare system, organizational management and/or healthcare marketing. Service and community activities also required.

Minimum qualifications include a PhD degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and at least two years of teaching experience in related fields. University or college teaching experience is preferred. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
