Librarian

We are hiring a dedicated and organized Librarian Assistant to join our library team in Las Vegas.

As a Librarian Assistant you will assist the head librarian in managing the librarys collection maintaining library records and providing excellent customer service to library patrons.

• Assist with cataloging and organizing materials in the library collection
• Help maintain accurate records of library materials and transactions
• Provide assistance to patrons in locating and accessing library resources
• Assist with planning and implementing library events and programs
• Monitor the use of library facilities and ensure a quiet and respectful environment for all patrons
• Help with basic maintenance tasks such as shelving books and keeping the library clean

• Bachelors degree in Library Science or related field preferred
• Previous experience working in a library or customer service role is an asset
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficiency in computer systems and software used in libraries

Salary $1800 per month
