The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Associate Director of Career & Professional Development, Lee Business School.

The Career & Professional Development Associate Director serves as a career coach and advisor for Lee Business School students, with a focus on graduate students and support for undergraduate students. The position provides individualized and group career coaching to help students select career paths, conduct job and internship searches, develop networking strategies, strengthen interviewing skills, and navigate other career-related challenges.

The Associate Director designs and delivers career development workshops, classroom presentations, and professional programming that equip students with the long-term career management, adaptability, and employability skills needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving business environment. In addition, the position serves as a key liaison to employers and corporate partners, fostering recruiting relationships and connecting students with internship and full-time employment opportunities.

Through these responsibilities, the position enhances career readiness, supports student success, and strengthens engagement between Lee Business School and the business community.

As one of the largest schools at UNLV with approximately 3,500 undergraduate students, 500 graduate students, more than 140 faculty and staff, and 25,500+ alumni, Lee Business School offers 10 undergraduate majors, 12 minors, and seven graduate degree programs. The MBA program has ranked in the top 100 part-time MBA programs for the past five years according to U.S. News and World Report.

In addition to its scholastic endeavors, Lee Business School is home to four centers that connect faculty and students with business and industry:
Troesh Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER), Lied Center for Real Estate, and Kerestesi Center for Insurance and Risk Management.

The Career and Professional Development Office in the Lee Business School works with undergraduate and graduate business students to prepare them to pursue their career goals. Students receive assistance and guidance to successfully pursue internships and full-time employment and are provided opportunities to connect with employers. It is our goal to prepare LEE students to enhance their marketability by providing a wide variety of career resources and events, and by delivering effective, tailored career assistance.

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education Administration, Educational Leadership, Human Resources Management, Counseling, MBA, or related field from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and 4 to 7 years of experience in university career services, recruitment & hiring, or career advising/coaching. Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.

Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Educational Leadership, Human Resources Management, Counseling, MBA, or related fields and 5 – 7 years of direct work experience in university career services.

Minimum starting salary is $68,500.00. This position is contingent upon funding.
