Part - Time Instructor, French - FY 2027 Job Description Please Note

This job announcement is not an offer of employment. Thisrequisition has been established to collect a robust candidate poolfor part-time positions that may become available within thedesignated discipline  a part-time position becomesavailable within the discipline, the hiring department will reviewthe application material of the candidates who have applied andwill invite select candidates to interview based on theirqualifications. Should a candidate be selected for a part-timeinstructor position, no minimum course load is guaranteed and teaching assignments, if any, are contingent upon various factors,including but not limited to, minimum student enrollment and/or department need.

No reimbursement for travel expenses will be provided to local or out of area/outof state candidates and thereis no guarantee of continued or future part-time and/or full-time employment.

• Teaching college-level courses in field.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required bycourse outcomes.
• Provide and excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
• Courses taught at multiple campuses in Clark County.
• Day, evening and weekend courses may be available.

• Master's degree in French Language or Literature, Linguisticsor Second Language Acquisition from a regionally accredited Collegeor University

$925.00 per credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.
