Part - Time Instructor, Political Science - FY 2027 Job Description

CSN is seeking part‑time instructors to teach Political Sciencecourses, primarily in an on‑ground format, with potentialopportunities for online instruction. Teaching assignments will include Introduction to American Politics (PSC 101), a four-creditcourse that includes a Nevada Constitution and Politics component.

• Teach college‑level courses in the field.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required bycourse outcomes.
• Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
• Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County.
• Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses.

• Master's degree in political science (Ph.D. preferred) from aregionally accredited college or university with at least 18graduate credits in the subject being taught (also from aregionally accredited college or university).

$925.00 per instructional unit. Credits will vary by semester.
