PositionAssistant/Associate/Full Professor in Residence, School of Nursing [R0152735]
Role of the PositionThis search is for an Assistant/Associate/Professor-in Residence within the School of Nursing. Primary responsibilities are to teach nursing courses consistent with one’s area of expertise, collaborate with other faculty in course development, use teaching resources such as Web Campus/Canvas to foster learning, provide student supervision, and participate in school, university, professional and community service activities. Classes are offered year‑round using a trimester sequence.

The School of Nursing at UNLV offers CCNE‑accredited programs leading to a BSN, MS (nurse practitioner and nurse educator tracks), DNP, and PhD (educator and interprofessional health concentrations and DNP to PhD). For more information, visit us online at http://www.unlv.edu/nursing.
Minimum QualificationsThe individual must hold a doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). The individual must also hold or be qualified to hold a Nevada RN license, and if selected will be subject to a one‑time background check. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
Faculty rank will be dependent upon educational credentials, terminal degree, experience, and scholarly achievement.
