Kiddie Academy of Mountains Edge is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire young minds in Las Vegas, NV! This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives while leading a classroom with creativity, care, and purpose. Our school has students ages 6 weeks to five years old so ideally we would prefer you are comfortable working with all age groups.
Responsibilities:- Plan and implement age-appropriate, curriculum-based lesson plans that promote early childhood development
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for all students
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
- Monitor and document children's developmental progress and communicate updates to parents
- Build positive relationships with families through regular communication and parent engagement
- Ensure classroom compliance with state licensing regulations and academy standards
- Facilitate social, emotional, cognitive, and physical learning activities throughout the day
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or early education setting
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood curriculum
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet Nevada state childcare licensing requirements
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine passion for working with children
