Radiography Technician Instructor

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for teaching.

Teach Radiography courses according to the lesson plan and syllabus as directed by the program supervisor

Prepare and grade written and practical examinations

Instructing lab sessions and administrating online courses as needed.

Attend faculty meetings, in-service meetings, graduation ceremonies, and other events as required by the College.

Dress professionally in accordance with faculty dress code.

All other duties as assigned by the department program chair

REQUIRED In-field experience: 2+ years

Undergraduate degree required: bachelor’s degree

Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Knowledge of and ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques

A.R.R.T.(R) (ARRT) Certification, required prior to hire Radiology Technologist for Nevada license, required prior to hire

$42.79-$43.27/hr (Based on Prior Education and Experience)
