• Simulate pilot actions and communication during air traffic controller training exercises
• Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system
• Receive voice commands from students and input proper entries into the automated system
• Translate displayed information into appropriate air traffic control terminology
• Respond to students utilizing proper phraseology via the voice communication system

• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Minimum educational requirement:
  High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
• Ability to speak clearly and be understood
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment

• Experience and certification in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation lab
• Working knowledge of the FAAO JO 7110.65
• Effective team-building skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Basic familiarity with pilot/controller communications or phraseology
