Clean Harbors is seeking a Health and Safety Trainer to lead in person training academies at our Missouri City, Texas location. This role will be pivotal in conducting instructor‑led training classes to our field employees. In addition, they will work with key personnel to assist with the implementation of processes, systems, and technology that support Clean Harbors' training academies.

- Conduct instructor‑led training sessions to equip team members with the knowledge and skills needed for success.
- Manages all training content through company shared folders, publishing to learning software as needed.
- Gather feedback to continually improve training materials and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate to implement new systems and processes that enhance efficiency and productivity in the field.
- Support new employees as they work through OSHA, RCRA, and other regulatory trainings
- Position requires you to be in person at the academy, Monday-Friday approximately 7am-5pm and availability on weekends for questions/urgent issues that may arise.
- 5+ Years of experience in an industrial environment that focuses on safety
- 1+ Years of experience leading safety trainings/instructing people
- Current OSHA certification
- Must have the ability to form and maintain working relationships with field personnel and senior management.
- Detail oriented and able to hold constructive meetings.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-starter and results oriented.
- Must have excellent organizational and communication (written/verbal) skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Strong facilitator/training moderator experience is a bonus
- Ability to travel up to 20%
