Boeing Phantom Works is seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer to support proprietary activities in Las Vegas, NV. The selected candidate will serve as a Flight Test Engineer on a test team charged with integrating, testing, and evaluating state-of-the-art technologies. Primary responsibilities include test article preparation, configuration control, maintenance and inspections, test article modifications, test planning and execution support, real-time control room support, and test reporting for test programs involving critical customer-directed technology maturation.
Note:
Primarily 1st shift. Off-shift work and time away from home will be required on a regular basis.
- Primary interface between maintenance and engineering personnel
- Formulate and communicate daily plans to ensure coordinated actions among test team personnel
- Coordinate and monitor preparation of test article configuration and instrumentation requirements to perform tests
- Ensure maintenance, inspection, and modification work on test articles is tracked and documented
- Track and manage configuration of test articles including inventory and mass properties
- Brief maintenance, inspection, and configuration of test articles prior to test events
- Coordinate requirements for special test equipment and support equipment
- Implement and enforce safety protocols during test procedures
- Assist test conductors during real-time test execution in the control room
- Prepare and publish test reports
This position is on-site at the listed location and requires on-site work.
Active U.S. TOP SECRET security clearance is required, with U.S. Citizenship; a security clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)- 2+ years of engineering experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interface effectively with personnel from engineering, manufacturing, and operations disciplines
- Ability to partner with coworkers and with government and industry personnel
- Ability to work in dynamic and unstructured environments
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s (or higher) engineering degree
- Prior aerospace experience, ideally in a flight test environment
- Experience in shop, hangar, or ramp environments
- Experience with Boeing tactical aircraft test and evaluation processes and products (e.g., Flight Preparation Sheets and Test Information Sheets)
- Ability to interpret schematics, diagrams, and other technical documentation for test planning and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of typical aircraft subsystems including avionics and mission systems
- Experience preparing test plans and procedures for system checkouts and overseeing execution
- Familiarity with aircraft modification processes
- Basic troubleshooting skills for fault isolation and anomaly investigation
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Access)

Salary and Benefits
Summary Pay Range:
Associate level (level
2): $85,850 - $116,150. Boeing offers a Total Rewards package including base pay, benefits, and other programs. Applications for this position will be accepted until February 27, 2026.
