We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Estimator to join the team. The Junior Electrical Estimator will assist in preparing accurate, competitive bids for electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical estimating and a passion for delivering top-notch services to our clients.

• Assist in the preparation of accurate and competitive bids for electrical projects
• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project scope and requirements
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services
• Prepare and submit bid proposals to clients within designated deadlines
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gain a better understanding of project requirements
• Maintain accurate and organized records of bid documents, correspondence, and other project-related information
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive bidding
• Assist in the review and analysis of project costs and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures
• Participate in post-bid meetings and discussions with clients to address any questions or concerns
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure a smooth transition from bid to project execution

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably in the commercial or industrial sector
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes
• Proficient in reading and interpreting project plans, specifications, and other technical documents
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
