Job Description:Parsons Corporation is seeking amazingly talented Construction Inspectors with previous experience focused on Water and Wastewater Projects. In this role,
you will work with a strong team of multi-disciplined individuals supporting a major water project in Southern Nevada.
- Inspection of demolition of existing mechanical or electrical work
- Inspection of installation of mechanical equipment, associated piping, power, controls and instrumentation.
- Inspection of building and facility construction and associated site development.
- Daily reporting and filing through written reports, project photographs, et.al. to convey a clear understanding of Project happenings.
- Inspection of installation on temporary and permanent signs and delineation.
- Understand and inspection of Lock Out/Tag Out activities
- Take project photographs on a daily basis and filing them
- Verify that only approved materials are incorporated in the work
- Maintain as-built plans
- Report on installed quantities to verify applications for payment and change order work
- Recognize potential conflicts, issues and problems, and reports to supervisor with proposed solution
- Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or construction-related field, or a high school diploma and 2+ years work experience is required
- Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications, be totally familiar with construction-related processes related to area of assignment, and have the potential to perform in a lead capacity
- Knowledge of English grammar and composition, the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; to follow oral and written instructions and prepare written messages and reports
- Previous inspection experience is preferred
- Previous experience with Water/Wastewater infrastructure is a big plus

Salary Range: $26.25 - $45.96
