Candidate ProfileClient US Team is seeking a Junior Structural Drafter/Designer to join our growing team in either our Las Vegas or New York office. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced structural engineers and gain hands-on experience producing structural drawings for a wide range of building types and construction materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to grow within the structural engineering and design field.
Key ResponsibilitiesDuties Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Prepare structural design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
- Develop structural plans, sections, details, and sketches
- Collaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into construction documents
- Follow established document flow, drafting standards, and detailed instructions
- Adapt to a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple tasks
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative design and engineering team
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural drafting
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Long-term interest in structural drafting and design
- Ability to self-start and contribute positively to team efforts
- Creative, detail-oriented, and well-organized
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Technically proficient in CAD and REVIT.
- Structural drafting knowledge across all phases of projects.
- Fast learner who can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Team player who is assertive and able to work with minimal direction.
- Hard worker who is ready to assume responsibility quickly.
