EIS Automation is seeking a hands-on Automation Systems Technician to support the assembly, startup, testing, and installation of advanced manufacturing automation systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, working in a fast-paced engineering environment, and contributing directly to the development of innovative automation solutions. We are looking for individuals with strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a desire to continuously learn and improve.

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble automation systems including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components
  • Build and wire control panels using electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Support system startup, testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams throughout the build process
  • Assist with equipment installation and commissioning at customer facilities
  • Provide customer support and operator training during system deployment
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain high standards for quality, organization, and workmanship

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation
  • Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and safety
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in team environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% domestically and occasionally internationally

Experience with industrial automation systems, electrical assembly, controls, robotics, or manufacturing equipment is preferred.
