Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and optimization of advanced high‑voltage and pulsed power systems. This role will focus on the integration of critical power delivery components, electrical waveform development, and system‑level design for specialized industrial and technology applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pulsed power technologies, high‑voltage electronics, and power system architecture. The individual will collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to develop next‑generation products, evaluate emerging technologies, and support qualification efforts for key system components.
ResponsibilitiesDefining technical requirements, performing electrical analysis, supporting testing and validation activities, managing vendor relationships, and driving projects from concept through implementation. The position requires a hands‑on engineer who is equally comfortable working in the lab and contributing to system‑level design decisions.
Required Skills- 7+ years of experience designing, analyzing, or supporting high‑voltage electrical systems
- Strong experience with pulsed power technologies, including solid‑state and/or line‑type modulators
- Knowledge of high‑voltage power supplies, power conversion systems, and electrical waveform control
- Experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex electrical circuits and subsystems
- Ability to perform engineering analysis using programming tools such as Python, MATLAB, Fortran, or similar languages
- Experience supporting product development, prototype testing, and system validation activities
- Strong understanding of electrical design documentation, revision control, and engineering change processes
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience working with particle accelerator systems, RF power systems, radar technologies, or advanced imaging equipment
- Knowledge of magnetron‑ or klystron‑driven high‑power platforms
- Experience with vendor qualification, component sourcing, and supply chain risk mitigation
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management systems and manufacturing support processes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Hands‑on troubleshooting and laboratory testing experience
