THE ROLEAs a Junior Robotics Field Technician, you will support the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of robotic systems on customer sites across the US. Working alongside experienced field technicians and engineering teams, you will help ensure reliable robot performance and successful deployments in real‑world environments. This role is ideal for someone early in their robotics or technical career who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and learning in fast‑paced environments.
Coreresponsibilities
- Assist with robot deployments, setup, and operation on customer sites under the guidance of experienced technicians
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs in the field and workshop following established procedures and checklists
- Support troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and software issues; escalate non‑routine or complex issues to senior team members
- Monitor robot performance during operations and report issues or observations clearly to the team
- Help organize tools, spare parts, and workshop inventory to support field readiness
- Assist customers and partners on‑site with operational questions, with support from senior technicians as needed
- Document service work, maintenance activities, and technical observations accurately
- Support a wide range of technical and operational tasks as needed
- A technical or mechanical background and university degree or diploma from a higher vocational school in Engineering, Mechanics, Robotics, or a related discipline
- Basic understanding or strong interest in robotics, Linux, programming, or control systems
- Hands‑on mindset and comfort working with physical hardware systems
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow technical procedures carefully
- Good problem‑solving skills and eagerness to learn from experienced teammates
- Clear communication skills and professionalism when working with customers and internal teams
- Strong sense of ownership and reliability
- Eligibility to work in the US
- Valid driver’s license
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel as required (up to 2 to 3 weeks per month)
- Internship, coursework, or up to 1 year of experience in an engineering or technical environment
- Exposure to robotics, automation, or electromechanical systems
- Exposure to project‑based work
- Work directly with real robots in real‑world environments
- Gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing robotics company
- Develop technical, operational, and customer‑facing skills
- Be part of a small, high‑impact team with strong growth potential
