Senior Network Engineer

Overview

Elevate Technology Solutions is currently accepting applications for a Sr. Network Engineer IV
. Selected candidates will work within dynamic leading-edge technology environments enabling the 805th Combat Training Squadron/Shadow Operations Center – Nellis (ShOC-N) to conduct integration, experimentation, and assessments of emerging technologies and mission procedures to meet warfighter requirements in Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) and the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS). This is an on-site position located at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV.

This opportunity requires that the ideal candidate be customer focused and willing to join a winning team.

• Install and maintain complex networks that link numerous computing platforms, operating systems, and network topologies across widely dispersed geographic areas.
• Evaluate hardware and software suitable for large, complex networks.
• Test and implement interface programs.
• Develop security procedures.
• Manage network performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems to ensure minimal disruption of mission-critical applications.
• Maintain fault-tolerant systems and manage systems backups.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Perform a variety of complicated tasks.

• Must have 5 years’ experience in relevant field.
• Experience with VMware NSX-T Technologies, Cisco Network Technologies, Cloud Networking Technologies, DoD Network Encryption and Security.
• Must have a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility at a minimum.
• Applicable Bachelor of Science preferred.
• Network virtualization VCAP and CCNP highly desired.
• AWS/Azure knowledge/experience highly desired.
