Supervisory General Engineer (GS-0801‑14)

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Supervisory Engineer to lead complex infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a robust multidisciplinary engineering background, with comprehensive knowledge of standard construction practices and federal contracting regulations. In this role, you will evaluate and integrate state‑of‑the‑art scientific and engineering technologies into the design, operation, maintenance, and modernization of our natural and built installation infrastructure.
Salary
: $128,473 – $167,020 (locality adjusted).

Experience
: 6–9 years desired.
- US citizenship is required.
- Must obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret clearance.
- Knowledge of multidisciplinary professional engineering theories, concepts, principles, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in standard construction and contracting regulations, practices, and procedures.
- Understanding of planning and program management; business and economic principles; financial management principles; and DoD Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS).
- Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.
- Skill in evaluating state‑of‑the‑art scientific and engineering technologies and incorporating them into the planning, design, operation, maintenance, repair, and upgrade of installation infrastructure.
- Ability to analyze, plan, organize, and direct work operations to meet program requirements and objectives with available resources; and to mentor, motivate, and assess staff.
- Professional registration or license as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect in one of the 50 states or territories is required.
