LED Display & Lighting Systems Engineer

Salary: $60,000–$65,000 per year
, based on experience

EGADS designs and manufactures custom LED displays, digital signage, architectural lighting, and technology solutions for casinos, resorts, entertainment venues, and commercial environments throughout North America.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about LED technology and enjoys taking a project from concept through installation.

This role combines engineering, lighting design, and LED display programming. The ideal candidate has experience designing LED layouts, programming Nova Star systems, creating pixel maps, and supporting custom LED display projects from design through commissioning.

• Design LED lighting layouts and display configurations for custom projects.
• Create pixel maps for LED displays and RGB lighting systems.
• Program and commission Nova Star controllers using NovaLCT and SmartLCT.
• Configure sending cards, receiving cards, processors, and LED cabinets.
• Troubleshoot LED displays, lighting systems, and controller programming.
• Develop wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Project Management, and Installation teams.
• Support production builds and field installations as needed.
• Assist with commissioning new LED display systems at customer sites.
• Help establish programming standards and best practices.

• 2+ years of experience working with LED display systems or architectural lighting.
• Experience programming Nova Star LED control systems.
• Experience creating pixel maps and configuring LED displays.
• Understanding of LED cabinet configuration, signal flow, and display commissioning.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

• Experience with RGB lighting systems.
• Knowledge of DMX, Nova Star, and Madrix
• AutoCAD or Solid Works experience.
• Experience working in casino, hospitality, entertainment, or live event environments.
• Experience with Brompton, Colorlight, or other LED processors is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for installations and customer support.
