Purchasing Buyer

The Purchasing Buyer supports a fast‑paced manufacturing environment by sourcing, managing, and maintaining critical materials and vendor relationships. This role ensures accurate purchasing, reliable inventory levels, and timely issue resolution to keep production running smoothly.

• Work with internal customers to plan, source, and manage floor stock and consumable materials.
• Purchase office supplies, accessories, spare parts used in a PCBA manufacturing environment and MRO materials.
• Create and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Monitor delivery performance and quality performance of vendors.
• Set inventory levels of frequently used items and maintain stock to support all manufacturing activities.
• Process purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, and other pertinent documentation.
• Escalate issues related to delivery, quality, out‑of‑stock, etc.
• Identify continuous improvement strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain processes and reporting for responsible items.

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with all transactions, both financially and systematically.
• Detail oriented. Includes records and communication retention, process documentation, etc.
• Ability to work in a mixed office/manufacturing environment, including continuous standing, sitting, typing, lifting, etc.
• Ability to work as business needs require, which may include long days, occasional evenings and weekends, and occasional travel for business meetings or training.
