Position: Floor Person Slots Part Time (LINQ LV)

Job Summary

The Slot Floor Person is responsible for quickly and accurately performing fills and jackpots on machines, as well as minor repairs. A Slot Floor Person/Attendant walks the casino floor, making themselves available to assist customers and provide friendly, courteous service at all times.

  • Actively patrol assigned sections looking for opportunities to surprise and delight guests, enhancing the slot entertainment experience by creating a fun, high‑energy environment.
  • Display an attentive, upbeat, and enthusiastic behavior during each interaction throughout the shift.
  • Develop customer loyalty by delivering unparalleled guest interactions as directed by company‑trained initiatives.
  • Clearly communicate functionality of Slot Floor (i.e., Fast Cash – ticket in/ticket out).
  • Respond to the right customers in the right order for service requests, including slot dispatch, slot candle lights, radio, and customers while meeting or exceeding department service standards; verify and countersign hand‑paid jackpots.
  • Resolve guest complaints using Service Recovery with a sense of urgency and empathy at approved levels of authority.
  • Keep slot areas clean, secure, and well‑maintained.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, excellent personal hygiene, and phone etiquette.
  • Show courtesy, friendliness, and an outgoing personality.
  • Apply good organization and communication skills.
  • Perform accurately and diligently while working in a loud, fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Responsibilities
  • One‑year previous slot floor‑person experience preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be able to mentally add, subtract, and multiply large amounts of money at a rapid, accurate pace.
  • Understand and comply with company and departmental directives, policies, and procedures.
  • Possess excellent customer relations and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willing to work any day of the week and any shift.
  • Maintain a good relationship with co‑workers and work as a team.
  • Present a well‑groomed appearance.
  • Hold a Gaming License, NV (required).
Qualifications
  • Requires some standing and walking continuously throughout the entire shift (typically 7 hours).
  • Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke and maintain pace with peak levels of business and customer demands.
  • Must be able to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 100 pounds; also able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and twist.
  • Must be able to tolerate stressful situations and frequent interruptions while maintaining accurate count and verifying banks when necessary.
  • Must manage and solve any concerns and questions customers may have.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Must tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
