The Job

The primary purpose of the Event Manager – Live Events & Production is to lead the production planning and execution of live events including but not limited to sporting, lifestyle, and entertainment. This role is hands‑on and production‑driven, overseeing A/V, event production, and on‑site operations to ensure seamless live experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong event industry knowledge, an understanding of event production logistics, A/V experience, and creative design skills.

Day-to-day
  • Work alongside Director to create and produce live event experiences.
  • Own event timelines, minute to minute run of shows, production schedules, and technical plans.
  • Lead production load‑ins, tech rehearsals, live event operations, and load outs.
  • Oversee all audiovisual elements including audio, lighting, video, LED, staging, and power.
  • Advance shows with venues, production teams, and vendors.
  • Manage A/V vendors, production companies, stage managers, and freelance crews.
  • Review production quotes and manage budgets within the larger event budget.
  • Contribute to the creative vision and design, ensuring production elements support storytelling, brand identity, and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and content teams to develop event themes, concepts, and experiential moments.
The Ideal Candidate
  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience in Entertainment, Sports, Events, or related field required.
  • Previous experience with show calling and/or technical direction preferred.
