Casino Cage Cashier

Overview

The Casino Cage Cashier is responsible for handling large volumes of cash and negotiable instruments in a secure, accurate, and professional manner. This role ensures exceptional guest service while maintaining strict compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policies.

• Process cash transactions including chip redemption, check cashing, credit/debit transactions, and cash advances
• Exchange gaming chips and tokens for cash
• Verify and balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Accurately document and record all transactions in accordance with internal controls
• Maintain compliance with gaming regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) procedures, and Title 31 requirements
• Identify and report suspicious activity to supervisors
• Provide courteous and professional service to guests at all times
• Assist with issuing and redeeming casino markers
• Maintain confidentiality of guest financial information
• Work collaboratively with security and surveillance teams to ensure a safe environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous cash handling experience (banking, retail, or casino preferred)
• Strong mathematical and basic accounting skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Ability to pass background check and obtain required gaming license
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Prior experience in a casino cage or banking environment
• Familiarity with Title 31 and AML compliance procedures
• Experience using casino management systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• High degree of accuracy and accountability
• Team-oriented mindset

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
