Job Summary

Responsible for dealing all games professionally, accurately, and according to policies and procedures, ensuring a positive customer experience. Proficient in all aspects of dealing Blackjack and Roulette.

Responsibilities Asset Protection / Gaming Compliance
  • Protect the integrity of games through observation and following appropriate procedures.
  • Protect all sensitive equipment (cards, shoes, etc.).
  • Ensure maximum game protection.
  • Complete paperwork required for monetary transactions.
  • Maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card.
  • Monitor game operations to ensure house rules, state, and federal regulations are adhered to.
  • Comply with all dealing procedures.
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal controls.
Critical Evaluation
  • Work independently and unsupervised when required, making sound decisions based on policy adherence.
  • Pass yearly Title 31 certification and communicate effectively with the Compliance Department.
  • Remain open-minded to changes and new information daily.
  • Know guest events, marketing promotions, and services/amenities throughout the property.
Team and Guest Service
  • Provide excellent service to casino guests and maintain team standards.
  • Handle guest problems and complaints effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Assist other team members and departments as needed.
Table Games Knowledge
  • Know all table game rules and regulations.
  • Track multiple players' level and duration of play.
  • Understand procedures for Blackjack and Roulette.
  • Observe gamblers for cheating indicators and notify security staff.
  • Deal assigned games, determine winners and losers, collect and pay bets.
  • Familiarity with game strategies and cheating methods.
  • Perform essential duties satisfactorily.
  • Willingness to learn new games.
Other

Job Duties
  • Fill in as dual rate supervisor when needed and maintain Title 31 for that role.
  • Assist with tournaments and promotions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills / Experience
  • Submit to a background check and drug test.
  • Obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Work under pressure and handle high-stress situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with gaming software and security systems is a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Blackjack and Roulette dealing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Use a computer, including keyboarding and mouse skills.
  • Bend, kneel, and work outdoors less than 25% of the time.
  • Hearing, vision, speech, and literacy skills are critical.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs with or without assistance.
  • Work in smoky, noisy, hot, cold, or humid environments.
