Job SummaryThe Dual Rate Supervisor supervises the operations of several table games on an assigned shift, placing special emphasis on guest service, security of Caesars Entertainment assets and positive employee motivation and coaching. Games needed (Blackjack, Roulette, Craps/Dice, Baccarat, and/or Pai Gow)
How You Will Create the Extraordinary- Operating several table games on an assigned shift
- Working knowledge of all table games, house rules, counting methods and procedures covering each assures that all coin and check racks are filled at all times
- Settles disputes that arise from guest in the Table Games area, referring those that are exceedingly difficult to the Casino Manager, Table Games or Director of Table Games
- Assures guest development by
1) interacting,
2) modeling interactive skills with guest and fellow employees and
3) making company decisions - Remains alert to any unusual or questionable activities being displayed by Table Games employee or gaming quest and reports any situations to assigned superior
- Observes problems or differences between Table Games employees and gaming guests and provides assistance if necessary
- Recommends changes in department including hiring, promotion, demotion, and termination; recommends wage and salary changes for personnel within established limits
- Counsels, guides, coaches and instructs assigned personnel in the proper performance of their duties
- Prepares and coordinates the periodical performance review of assigned personnel
- Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner
- Must present a neat and professional appearance
- Must require a minimum age of 21
- Work requires ability to perform basic math functions
- Work requires flexibility to work various shifts
- Work requires minimum of 2 years pit operation (preferred)
- Knowledge of casino rules, regulations and procedures pertinent to PIT operations
- Prior professional cleaning experience preferred
- Cards Needed:
Alcohol NV and Gaming License, NV
- Must be able to respond calmly in a demanding environment, multiple tasks to be managed under time constraints
- Must possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards and money
- Must have excellent vision (including peripheral) to protect the games
- Must be able to tolerate secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust
- Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items
- Must be able to walk and be on foot for extended periods of time
- Must be able to manage a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner
